Round 1
Navas tries to hyperextend the knee of Curley Villareal with a kick to the kneecap. Curley Villareal hops back to avoid it. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Curley Villareal works "12" into the cage from the clinch. Curley Villareal presses his head under "12s" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Curley Villareal works Cisco Navas into the cage from the clinch. Curley Villareal presses his head under "12s" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Curley Villareal takes "12s" back standing. Cisco Navas isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Curley Villareal lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Cisco Navas to release. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Cisco wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Curley Villareal. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Curley Villareal connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cisco. Curley Villareal connects with a hard punch making Cisco Navas bring him in to a tight clinch. Curley is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Villareal takes the back of Navas who works for a kimura. Villareal pulls his arm out of the hold and push Navas away. Cisco Navas throws a hard jab but Curley throws a cross right over the top rocking Cisco Navas. Villareal swaying back and forth with Balanco plants front foot while throwing hands and head to the ground like a cartwheel while flipping into an axe kick to the midsection of Cisco Navas. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Cisco Navas hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Curley showing off with a Macaco em Pe back flip into the ginga dance. Villareal winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Curley Villareal loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Navas for the mistake. Navas has side control.Round 3 comes to a close.
