Round 1 Hugh Canty feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Borgar. Hugh Canty dives into guard. Hugh is working a furious pace inside of the guard of Borgar. Hugh Canty drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Palsson almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "5" slides his knee across the body of "Spd" and takes full mount. "Spd" shifts his head and hips to keep Canty off balance and unable to land strikes. Hugh punishes Borgar with a series of strikes from the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Borgar Palsson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Hugh puts Borgar Palsson on the mat giving his back up. Borgar Palsson carefully protects himself from Cantys strikes. Borgar Palsson is able to make it back to the standing position. Borgar shoots but Canty stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Hugh Canty slides his knee across the body of Palsson and takes full mount. Borgar shifts his head and hips to keep "5" off balance and unable to land strikes. Canty grabs and arm and swings over for a tight armbar. Palsson taps out.
