Round 1
Snyder connects with a series of punches forcing Ibtisam Topalovich into a clinch. Neil Snyder is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Neil breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. "14" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Topalovich is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters begin to exchange Neil catches Ibtisam with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Ibtisam gather himself. Ibtisam says he is ok and the fight continues. Ibtisam throws a cross that easily dodged by Neil. Ibtisam is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Neil prepares to pounce, but Ibtisam gets his bearings just in time. Snyder stands over Topalovich, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Topalovich cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Neil Snyder shoots in for a double leg, hoists Ibtisam Topalovich up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Snyder slides his knee across the body of Ibtisam Topalovich and takes full mount. Neil punishes Topalovich with a series of strikes from the mount. Ibtisam Topalovich gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "14" peppers Topalovich with several shots to the face. Ibtisam Topalovich tries to explode out the backdoor but Neil Snyder sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Ibtisam Topalovich falls flat to protect himself. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Topalovich connects with a series of punches forcing "14" into a clinch. Ibtisam Topalovich works to Neil Snyders back while standing. Ibtisam Topalovich throws a couple of outside shots until Neil Snyder is able to work his way back to the clinch. While wrestling in the clinch Ibtisam Topalovich uses incredible technique to throw Snyder hurling him like a small child with a Sumi Otoshi throw. Snyder is dazed and wondering where he is. Ibtisam Topalovich now has dominant side control. Topalovich drops some good elbows to the face of Neil Snyder forcing him to give up his back. Ibtisam peppers shots to the head of Neil Snyder and finds an opening to slide his arm under the neck for a tight choke. Neil Snyder struggles for a bit but has to tap out.
