Round 1 "NP Ghana" connects with a hard punch making Vargas bring him in to a tight clinch. Alberto ducks under to the back of Nickerson and hops up getting both hooks in. Alberto applies a deep choke. Nickerson fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Christoper fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Alberto Vargas up for a flurry of hooks. Christoper Nickerson lands a devastating overhand right on Alberto. Nickerson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Nickerson pushes Alberto Vargas into the cage after a double jab connects. Nickerson begins throwing a series of jabs, crosses and shovel punches until Alberto Vargas is slumped bloodied and unconscious in the corner.
