Round 1
Erik Stewart connects with a strong body shot combo. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Erik connects with a hard jab as Ricardo Mendoza attempts a wide outside hook. Erik connects with a strong right hook. A shot catches Ricardo off balance and off guard. Erik spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Erik and he is able to sneak his leg through Mendozas loose guard, to half guard. Ricardo defends short shots well by turning his head. Erik attempts to get a leg free and quickly moves into mount position. Ricardo Mendoza arches his body up to buck off Erik from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
A welt begins to form under Eriks eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Mendoza. Erik Stewart connects with jab cross combination. Ricardo Mendoza fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Erik quickly takes his back. Ricardo Mendoza tries to explode out the backdoor but Stewart sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Ricardo Mendoza falls flat to protect himself. Ricardo Mendoza is able to make it back to the standing position. Stewart circles Mendoza, mixing jabs and leg kicks. A looping right hook from Ricardo sends Erik Stewart to the mat. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Ricardo Mendoza throws a hard jab but Erik Stewart throws a cross right over the top rocking Ricardo Mendoza. Mendoza circles Erik Stewart, landing jabs at will. Erik Stewart throws a hard jab but Ricardo Mendoza throws a cross right over the top rocking Erik Stewart. Stewart shoots in and achieves a tight body lock on Mendoza. Stewart dumps Mendoza on his back and immediately swings his leg over the prone abdomen achieving full mount. Stewart postures up and reigns down punches. Round 3 is finished.
