Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jessica sends Alyssa Sanders to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into her guard. "Jess Shendo" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Jessica Shenderson defends a triangle attempt, throwing Alyssas straight leg over her head and makes a move for side control. Alyssa Sanders is able to hold her to half guard. Jessica tries to pull her leg out of half guard, but no luck. Shenderson presses her foot onto the thigh of Alyssa to get her own foot free. She successfully releases her leg and moves to side control. "Jess Shendo" drops some good elbows to the face of Alyssa forcing her to give up her back. Alyssa Sanders starts to wiggle out of back control, Jessica lets her escape putting them both on their feet. Alyssa connects with a series of punches forcing Jessica Shenderson into a clinch. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Shenderson tries to hyperextend the knee of Alyssa with a kick to the kneecap. Alyssa hops back to avoid it. Sanders locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Jessica. Sanders lands a knee to the chest of Jessica Shenderson, putting them both off balance and to the floor. Jessica backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Shenderson connects with a hard punch making Alyssa bring her in to a tight clinch. Alyssa dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses her balance and falls to the ground, with Jessica Shenderson standing over her. "Jess Shendo" grabs a foot and kicks at Alyssas thighs. She then backs off and Alyssa stands back up. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Alyssa Sanders snaps back the head of Shenderson with a stiff jab. Alyssa connects with a jab cross combination. Sanders attempts a striking combination, but Shenderson forces the clinch. Shenderson breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. "Jess Shendo" is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Alyssa tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from "Jess Shendo" that puts her on the floor. Jessica stands over Alyssa Sanders, works her way through her open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Alyssa Sanders is able to grab an arm and pull Jessica into her guard. "Jess Shendo" forces Alyssas leg down, giving her the chance to pass into side control. Jessica Shenderson throws her knee into the ribs of Alyssa Sanders. Shenderson delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Sanders to turn over. Shenderson takes the back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
