Round 1 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Vishnevsky connects with a series of punches forcing Meru Horigome into a clinch. Horigome takes Kristinas back standing. Kristina isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Horigome lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Kristina to release. Vishnevsky keeps Meru Horigome at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kristina Vishnevsky uses her under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown, landing in full guard. Kristina dodges a few strikes from Meru and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. Meru works for a triangle but Kristina throws Meru Horigomes straight leg over her head and makes it to half guard. Meru defends short shots well by turning her head. Kristina Vishnevsky attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Kristina attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Meru for her troubles. Vishnevsky delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Meru Horigome to turn over. Vishnevsky takes the back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Kristina keeps Meru Horigome at a distance with some well timed jabs. A shot catches Horigome off balance and off guard. Vishnevsky spears her but can only manage to make it to guard. Kristina drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. A can opener from Kristina Vishnevsky opens up Horigomes guard. Meru Horigome holds the head of Kristina Vishnevsky close to avoid shots. Kristina Vishnevsky slams shots to her opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Kristina Vishnevsky wraps the arm of Horigome behind her back and traps it. Kristina Vishnevsky pounds away with shots to the face. Meru lands some stiff elbows from the ground, but Vishnevsky is able to take full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Vishnevsky connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Kristina lands a hook to the body. Meru Horigome connects with a hard jab as Kristina Vishnevsky attempts a wide outside hook. Kristina throws a hard jab but Meru Horigome throws a cross right over the top that knocks out Kristina.
