Round 1 Shi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Horigome. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Shi escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Isabelle Shi tries to hyperextend the knee of Meru Horigome with a kick to the kneecap. Meru Horigome hops back to avoid it. Horigome snaps back the head of Isabelle Shi with a stiff jab. Isabelle Shi connects with a strong body shot combo. Isabelle throws a hard jab but Horigome throws a cross right over the top that knocks Isabelle to the ground. Meru lays into Isabelle with some stomps. Isabelle can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
