Round 1 Emery connects with a hard punch making Taai Tuitama bring her in to a tight clinch. Emery receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Taai. Emery Morris recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. A lazy leg kick from Taai is caught by Emery who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Taai. Emery Morris drops a huge strike to Tuitamas chin, landing into her guard. Taai Tuitama backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A trip to the ground allows Emery Morris to move into the guard of Tuitama. Taai Tuitama begins to posture on her side. Morris lands a couple of outside hooks and Taai Tuitama returns to the guard. Morris begins to stand up with Tuitama still holding guard. As Tuitama opens her guard Morris spins to a kneebar. Tuitama tries to punch at Morris who has now sunk the hold. Tuitama screams out and taps feverishly.
