Round 1 Da Mi throws a few jabs at "Event" that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mikaela drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Round 2 Martinez moves in to press the action, but Da Mi lands a heavy back kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. As they jockey for position in the clinch Cheon wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Mikaela. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Cheon shuffles away from Martinezs strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Mikaela backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mikaela drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. "WFLy Triathlete" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Mikaela Martinez lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Mikaela lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Cheon. Mikaela then switch kicks Cheon on the opposing rib. Da Mi counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Round 3 is over.
