Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Mary Gruber catches Brianna Roberts with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Brianna Roberts gather herself. Brianna Roberts says she is ok and the fight continues. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by "DBAs dirty little Bi". Brianna Roberts is able to pull her into her guard. Brianna Roberts lands a stiff elbow while on her back. Mary distracts Brianna with some peppering shots. Mary then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Brianna is able to force her way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. Roberts holds the head of "DBAs dirty little Bi" close to avoid shots. "DBAs dirty little Bi" slams shots to her opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Mary tries to pull her leg out of half guard, but no luck. Mary Gruber tries to pull her leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Mary connects with numerous jabs to the face of Roberts. Mary narrowly dodges a cross from Brianna, but falls catching her in her guard. Gruber slides her body to the side and pushes out of guard. Roberts grabs a guillotine hold and forces Gruber back down gaining side control. Brianna Roberts attempts an armbar, but Mary stops the attempt. Brianna Roberts uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mary Gruber gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Mary takes Robertss back standing. Mary lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Brianna is able to work her way back around. Brianna drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Gruber gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. She now has half guard. Brianna slips out of half guard and into side control. Roberts slides her knee across the body of Gruber and takes full mount. Mary gives her back up trying to escape the mount. Brianna Roberts tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The bell signals the end of round 3.
