Round 1 An outside leg trip puts Cassius into side control. Cassius Brewer slides his knee across the body of Ah Sam and takes full mount. Cassius Brewer secures his position. Osovale Ah Sam gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ah Sam tries to stand up but Cassius plants him back down with several strikes. Cassius lands a series of heavy punches forcing Osovale Ah Sam to roll to his back, giving Cassius mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Osovale throws a few jabs at Brewer that miss the mark. Cassius Brewer grabs a single leg and pushes Ah Sam to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Cassius Brewer switches to a double leg but Ah Sam does a good job of keeping his base. Cassius receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Ah Sam. Osovale Ah Sam works Cassius Brewer into the cage from the clinch. Osovale Ah Sam presses his head under Cassiuss chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Osovale Ah Sam attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Cassius Brewer pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Brewer jumps in to attack but is met by a handstand spring kick to that connects flush. Ah Sam finishes him off with hammerfists.
