Round 1
Masaaki Kotoku locks around the waist of Mitchell. He sneaks his foot behind Mitchells and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Masaaki attempts an armbar, but Mitchell stops the attempt. Masaaki uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Joey Mitchell attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Joey Mitchell gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Masaaki Kotoku tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Giving up his back, Joey Mitchell panics and gives up mount instead. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kotoku places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Joey Mitchell attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Masaaki pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "All Bloody Smiles" snaps back the head of Joey Mitchell with a stiff jab. Masaaki Kotoku connects with a strong right hook. Kotoku circles "The Machine", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Masaaki connects with a right that puts "The Machine" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Masaaki towers over him. Masaaki lays into Joeys thighs with some well timed kicks while Joey is grounded. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
"The Machine" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Joey keeps Kotoku at a distance with some well timed jabs. The fighters circle each other. Masaaki circles Joey Mitchell, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "The Machine" keeps Masaaki at a distance with some well timed jabs. Kotoku catches a leg kick from Mitchell, and puts him on the mat.Round 3 comes to a close.

Masaaki "All Bloody Smiles" Kotoku wins by Split Decision
