Round 1
A low kick is shin checked by Munoz who retaliates with a superman punch that floors Watnabe. Munoz falls into Hitoshis guard. "Thunderlips" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Timoteo Munoz passes through Watnabes guard into mount. Hitoshi gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Timoteo Munoz peppers Watnabe with several shots to the face. Hitoshi Watnabe starts to wiggle out of back control, "Thunderlips" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Munoz fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Watnabe up for a flurry of hooks. Munoz parries Hitoshi Watnabes jab and lands a hook that floors Hitoshi Watnabe. Timoteo Munoz attempts to drop a fist on Watnabe, but misses and lands in his guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Watnabe fakes an overhand and is able to take down Munoz with a double ankle pick. Timoteo Munoz is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Hitoshi transitions to half guard. Timoteo tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Munoz hits an upward elbow on Hitoshi, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Hitoshi takes side control. Hitoshi Watnabe drops some hammer fists on Munoz. Hitoshi lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
"Thunderlips" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Hitoshi Watnabe lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Timoteo. Hitoshi Watnabe parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. Munoz throws a cross that easily dodged by Hitoshi Watnabe. Munoz grabs for a clinch but Watnabe grazes him with an uppercut. Munoz staggers back, then surprises Watnabe with a powerful superman punch. A shot from Hitoshi Watnabe is countered by a guillotine choke from Timoteo. Hitoshi Watnabe is forced to tap out.
