Santiago rushes forward to capitalize but Cuco Villareal stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cuco clinches with Timo Santiago and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Timo Santiago for a trip takedown, landing Cuco is half guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Cuco Villareal dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Timo. Timo Santiago connects with a strong body shot combo. Timo Santiago throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Cuco Villareal. Cuco Villareal lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Timo Santiago on his back.
