Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Rojas catches Jodoin with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jodoin gather himself. Jodoin says he is ok and the fight continues. Lee circles away from Juan, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Rojas attempts to press in on Lee but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Lee Jodoin throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Juan is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Lee shuffles away from Juans strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Juan backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Rojas circles "Ground Assault ", landing jabs at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Juan places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Lee is defended well by Rojas. Lee grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Lee returns to the clinch. Juan fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Lee Jodoin up for a flurry of hooks. The fighters circle each other. "Ground Assault " takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Rojas. Rojas connects with a hard jab as Lee Jodoin attempts a wide outside hook. Lee Jodoin throws a few jabs at Rojas that miss the mark.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Juan attempts a striking combination, but Lee Jodoin forces the clinch. Lee Jodoin lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Rojas works to Jodoins back while standing. Rojas throws a couple of outside shots until Jodoin is able to work his way back to the clinch. Rojas takes Lee Jodoins back standing. Jodoin isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Rojas lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Jodoin to release. The fighters circle each other. Rojas snaps back the head of Lee with a stiff jab. Juan lands a hook to the body. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Lee wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Juan Rojas. The round comes to an end.
