Round 1
A welt begins to form under "Rushdowns" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Acosta. "Rushdown" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A wild hook from Ian Robbins is ducked by Acosta who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Mau Acosta shoots for a single leg but Ian Robbins is able to hop away, defending well. Mau Acosta takes the opportunity to execute a double-ankle pick and work to half guard. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Mau is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Mau connects with a hard punch making Robbins bring him in to a tight clinch. "5 Foot Taquito" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ian Robbins sets a guillotine choke but "5 Foot Taquito" slips out at the last moment. "5 Foot Taquito" is now caught in guard. Ian backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Mau to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Ian lays into Acostas thighs with some well timed kicks while "5 Foot Taquito" is grounded. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
"Rushdown" keeps "5 Foot Taquito" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Acosta is leading with his head during his combos and Ian Robbins makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Acosta shakes it off as he steps back. "Rushdown" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Acosta puts "Rushdown" on the mat giving his back up. Mau Acosta begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "Rushdown" rolls to being mounted instead. Mau Acosta executes a double hand slap to the ears of Ian Robbins. "Rushdown" fights his leg through and gets back to half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
