Round 1 "Bang Bang" snaps back the head of Fortunato with a stiff jab. Wilson narrowly dodges a cross from Fortunato Velasquez, but falls catching him in his guard. Duane Wilson begins to posture on his side. Fortunato lands a couple of outside hooks and Duane Wilson returns to the guard. Fortunato Velasquez presses the action while in the guard, but Duane Wilson is able to switch him into mount. Fortunato attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Fortunato gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Wilson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Duane narrowly dodges a cross from Fortunato, but falls catching him in his guard. Duane Wilson is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Velasquez pushes down Duanes leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Duane Wilson lands some stiff elbows from the ground, but Fortunato is able to take full mount. Duane Wilson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Wilson starts to wiggle out of back control, Velasquez lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Duane Wilson shoots in and grabs a single leg. Fortunato Velasquez hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing Duane Wilson to release the attempt. Velasquez rushes forward with strikes and Wilson slips to his all fours. Velasquez unleashes a barrage of punches. Wilson is stuck against the cage and cannot roll to his guard. Velasquez finishes his flurry with two strong uppercuts. The ref jumps in and Wilson crumples face down in a bloody mess.
