Round 1 Doc connects with a hard jab as "Frankenberry" attempts a wide outside hook. Doc shoots but Dalton Simmons stuffs it, eventually using a whizzer to work to side control. "Frankenberry" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Doc gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Doc carefully protects himself from Simmonss strikes. Round 2 Doc Thompson circles "Frankenberry", landing jabs at will. Thompson sprawls a takedown attempt from Dalton Simmons. Dalton Simmons eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Dalton connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Dalton hits an uppercut to the head of Doc followed by a hard hook. Dalton Simmons hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Doc Thompson stuff a shot from Doc Thompson and lands some powerful outside hammerfists to Dalton Simmonss temple causing Simmons to roll back, giving up side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Dalton Simmons is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Dalton Simmons trips Doc Thompson to the floor, landing in side control. Dalton drops some hammer fists on Doc. A series of strong hammerfists forces Thompson to roll over, giving up his back. Thompson is able to make it back to the standing position. Simmons clinches with Thompson and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Thompson for a trip takedown, landing Simmons is half guard. Dalton is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Simmons telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Doc gives up his back to stop the attempt. Thompson is able to make it back to the standing position. Thompson hits an uppercut to the head of "Frankenberry" followed by a hard hook.
