Round 1 Fritz is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Chosto Moreno falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Smith is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Chosto transitions to half guard. Fritz Smith attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Chosto Moreno secures his position. Smith gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Moreno peppers shot to the head of Fritz looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Fritz is hand playing well. Chosto lifts up Fritz into a german suplex and sends him crashing down onto the back of his head. Chosto takes side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 A shot catches Fritz off balance and off guard. Chosto grabs him by the waist, lifts him, swings him through and slams in onto the ground. Fritz scrambles well and works to guard. Fritz Smith is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Moreno. Moreno takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Fritzs guard. It doesn't pay off as Fritz Smith makes his way to standing. Smith throws a hard jab but Chosto throws a cross right over the top rocking Smith. Fritz sprawls a takedown attempt from Chosto Moreno. Chosto Moreno eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Fritz attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Chosto takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Moreno attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Fritz Smith for his troubles. A series of strong hammerfists forces Fritz to roll over, giving up his back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Smith connects with a hard jab as Chosto attempts a wide outside hook. Fritz throws a few jabs at Chosto Moreno that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Chosto Moreno spikes Fritz Smith into the mat with a powerful slam takedown. Fritz Smith attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Smith connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Moreno. Fritz Smith throws a few jabs at Chosto that miss the mark. Fritz Smith connects with jab cross combination. Round 3 is over.
