Round 1
Sanna connects with a hard jab as Boas attempts a wide outside hook. Boas circles Sanna, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Alexandre Boas circles "Born to Kick", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Federico throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Boas. A welt begins to form under Federico Sannas eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "The Runner". The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Alexandre Boas connects with a hard punch making Sanna bring him in to a tight clinch. "The Runner" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Federico takes Alexandres back standing, but Boas isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Federico squirms out and both fighters end up standing. "The Runner" lands a double jab. Alexandre feints and follows up with a hard cross. Federico stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Alexandre Boas throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Federico Sanna. Alexandre connects with a right that puts "Born to Kick" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Alexandre towers over him. Alexandre Boas stands over Federico Sanna, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Federico Sanna cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Sanna throws a leg kick. "The Runner" shin checks the kick. He then leaps up to land a crushing knee strike to the chin of Sanna. Sanna stumbles back. "Born to Kick" connects with a hard punch making "The Runner" bring him in to a tight clinch. Boas drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Federico Sanna sets a guillotine choke but Boas slips out at the last moment. Boas is now caught in guard. Federico works to butterfly guard. He shifts his weight to a side and bolsters to the stand up position. Alexandre Boas eats a stiff kick to the face. Alexandre is cornered by Sanna who tries to press the action. Alexandre is able to block well and circles away from Sanna, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Sanna lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Round 3 comes to a close.
