Round 1 Rogers throws a cross that easily dodged by Concepcion. Concepcion connects with a series of punches forcing Ray Rogers into a clinch. Concepcion Morales places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. While tied up Concepcion Morales executes a shoulder throw giving him dominant side control. Rogers takes a few knees to the body while under Moraless side control. Ray takes a few knees to the body while under Concepcion Moraless side control. Rogers gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After dodging a jab-cross, Morales lands a kick to the liver of Rogers who steps back and begins to take a knee. Morales rushes forward to capitalize but Rogers stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Concepcion Morales circles Ray, mixing jabs with body shots. Morales parries Ray Rogerss jab and connect with a cross. Ray Rogers attempts a striking combination, but Concepcion Morales forces the clinch. Morales hip tosses Rogers over with an underhook, landing into half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Morales hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Rogers sends Concepcion Morales to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Concepcion Morales dodges some ground strikes from Ray Rogers, and sends a few back of his own. Ray Rogers covers Concepcions mouth. As he opens his guard Ray Rogers is able to move to half guard. Ray Rogers covers the mouth and nose of Concepcion to effect his breathing. Concepcion holds the head of Ray close to avoid shots. Ray slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Rogers covers the mouth and nose of Concepcion Morales to effect his breathing. Round 3 comes to a close.
