Round 1 Joe Clark is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Denny defends a triangle attempt, throwing Joes straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Clark is able to hold him to half guard. Clark holds the head of Denny close to avoid shots. Denny slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Denny Berry slips out of half guard and into side control. Joe Clark almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Clark tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 After dodging a jab-cross, Clark lands a kick to the liver of Berry who steps back and begins to take a knee. Clark rushes forward to capitalize but Berry stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Denny connects with a strong body shot combo. "1st to 80" connects with jab cross combination. Joe lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Denny Berry. Both fighters begin to exchange "1st to 80" catches Clark with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Clark gather himself. Clark says he is ok and the fight continues. "1st to 80" moves in to press the action, but Joe lands a heavy back kick. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Joe circles away from Denny Berry, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Joe fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Berry quickly takes his back. Joe Clark carefully protects himself from Berrys strikes. Joe Clark slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Clark parries Dennys jab and connect with a cross. Joe Clark lands a solid kick to the front leg of "1st to 80". "1st to 80" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Round 3 is finished.
