Round 1 Smith connects with a series of punches forcing Adams into a clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Vernon Adams is defended well by Jeremiah. Vernon Adams grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Vernon Adams returns to the clinch. "Venom" takes the back of Smith who works for a kimura. "Venom" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Smith away. Jeremiah Smith looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Vernon lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. "Jigsaw" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "Jigsaw" hits an uppercut to the head of Vernon followed by a hard hook. Jeremiah Smith parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. A solid kick bruises the leg of Smith. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Jeremiah Smith is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "Venom" presses forward landing a couple more strikes and a final elbow that knocks Jeremiah Smith out.
