Round 1
"The Soviet Devil " hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Temir Murat tries to stop a shot with a punch but Red Coleman plows through Temir Murats attempt and ends up in guard. A right hand from Temir while in guard angers Coleman who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Temir gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Red slams his knee into Murats ribs. Temir Murat holds the head of Coleman close to avoid shots. Coleman slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Coleman presses his foot onto the thigh of Murat to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Coleman connects with a hard punch making Temir Murat bring him in to a tight clinch. Murat receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Coleman. Murat breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Red Coleman is struck by a ball kick from Temir that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Red tries to hyperextend the knee of Temir Murat with a kick to the kneecap. Temir Murat hops back to avoid it. Coleman throws a few jabs at Murat that miss the mark. Coleman connects with a right that puts Temir off balance tumbling to the mat, as Coleman towers over him. Red pounces on Temir Murat, but is met with a powerful upkick. Red manages to land into side control though. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Temir Murat connects with a hard punch making "The Soviet Devil " bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Red Coleman dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Temir Murat standing over him. Temir attempts to drop a fist on Coleman, but misses and lands in his guard. While caught in Red Colemans guard, Temir gets hit with a vicious elbow. "The Soviet Devil " dodges some ground strikes from Temir Murat, and sends a few back of his own. Coleman begins to posture on his side. Temir Murat lands a couple of outside hooks and Coleman returns to the guard. Red Coleman attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Murat narrowly avoids it, but allows for Red Coleman to take mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
