Round 1 Shane rushes in a little too quick and Travis Demers uses it to his advantage, stepping back and using an advanced side drop ending with Shane under side control gasping for air. Travis Demers slides his knee across the body of Shane and takes full mount. Travis Demers punishes Wellen with a series of strikes from the mount. Shane Wellen gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Demers tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Demers peppers shot to the head of Wellen looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Wellen is hand playing well. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Shane winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Wellen throws a hard jab but Travis Demers throws a cross right over the top rocking Wellen. Travis Demers ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Wellen to the mat, and his back. Giving up his back, Wellen panics and gives up mount instead. Shane Wellen attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Demers grabs and arm and swings over for a tight armbar. Wellen taps out.
