Round 1 Jodoin lands a double jab. Jodoin gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jack carefully protects himself from Costas strikes. Jack slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Arminio takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Jodoin blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Costa tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Arminio Costa connects with a hard jab as Jack Jodoin attempts a wide outside hook. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Costa lands a double jab. Jodoin circles Arminio Costa, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jack Jodoin lands a devastating overhand right on Arminio. Jack circles Arminio Costa, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jodoin connects with jab cross combination. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Arminio starts to put on the pressure, forcing Jack back into the cage. Arminio takes advantage and clinches. Arminio locks down his opponents arm while ducking his head under the opposite arm. Arminio instantly grabs a leg and lifts Jodoin up and over onto his back with a Te Guruma throw. Arminio drops down to side control. Jodoin takes a few knees to the body while under Arminio Costas side control. Jack Jodoin sneaks a leg back under the body of Arminio Costa to achieve a defensive half guard. Costa is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Jodoin gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Costa tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Arminio Costa peppers Jack Jodoin with several shots to the face. Round 3 is finished.
