Round 1
Lungelo Naidoo shuffles away from Kalils strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Kalil Herod backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. "Zulu Slayer" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kalil Herod. Lungelo attempts to grab the plum but Herod takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Lungelo. Lungelo attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Lungelo fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Herod. "Zulu Slayer" connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Kalil Herod is dazed on the mat. Naidoo stands over Herod, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Herod cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Naidoo hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Herod attempts a striking combination, but Lungelo forces the clinch. A strong elbow forces Herod to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Lungelo lays into Kalils thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Kalil Herod does so. Naidoo connects with a right that puts Kalil off balance tumbling to the mat, as Naidoo towers over him. Lungelo Naidoo chucks Kalil Herods legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Herod sneaks a leg back under the body of Lungelo to achieve a defensive half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
A welt begins to form under Herods eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Zulu Slayer". Kalil Herod connects with a strong body shot combo. Lungelo Naidoo connects with a jab cross combination. Naidoo dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Kalil Herod. "Zulu Slayer" circles Kalil Herod, mixing jabs with body shots. Herod takes a punch and goes to the mat, Lungelo Naidoo pounces into side control. Herod recovers quickly. Round 3 is finished.
