Round 1 Henderson connects with a hard punch making Checho Garza bring him in to a tight clinch. Benjamin Henderson receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Garza dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Benjamin standing over him. Benjamin Henderson attempts to drop a fist on Checho Garza, but misses and lands in his guard. Checho Garza shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Checho Garza connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Henderson drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Checho slides out from bottom grasping the back of Henderson allowing him to get back control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Checho eats a strong cross as Benjamin Henderson moves into the clinch. Checho Garza throws a couple of light hooks but Benjamin lands a large outer drop and positions to side mount. Henderson attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Garza for his troubles. Henderson attempts an armbar, but Garza stops the attempt. Henderson uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Henderson secures his position. Benjamin throws one straight shot after another to the the chin of Garza. The ref stops it.
