Round 1 Jesse King connects with a hard punch making Jared bring him in to a tight clinch. Jesse King lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Porier recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Jesse dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. King circles Porier, landing jabs at will. A welt begins to form under Jareds eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Jesse. Jesse takes Porier down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Porier. King stands over Jared Porier, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Jared Porier cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Porier ducks under to the back of Jesse King and hops up getting both hooks in. Porier applies a deep choke. Jesse King fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Jesse King escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A trip to the ground allows Jesse to move into the guard of Jared Porier. King pounds out Jared Porier with brutal punches. The referee dives in to stop the fight. Jared Porier tackles the referee due to being dazed and confused.
