Round 1 Kurt Cobb is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Kurt is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Butler transitions to half guard. Pete is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Pete Butler executes a double hand slap to the ears of Kurt Cobb. Kurt Cobb gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Butler executes a double hand slap to the ears of Kurt Cobb. Kurt Cobb tries to escape out the back but Butler locks a crucifix, rolling Kurt Cobb to his back. Kurt Cobb is unable to defend against Pete Butlers elbow strikes from the crucifix and he is knocked out cold.
