Round 1 "the ram" stuffs a shot from Cisco Romero and hits him with an outside body shot. Cisco Romero gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Donato Ramos keeps his head down in the chest of Cisco to avoid any submission attempts. Donato Ramos leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Donato Ramos but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Cisco connects with a strong body shot combo. Cisco connects with jab cross combination. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Donato Ramos wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Cisco Romero. "the ram" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Ramos drops some good elbows to the face of Romero forcing him to give up his back. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Ramos tries to hyperextend the knee of Romero with a kick to the kneecap. Romero hops back to avoid it. Cisco Romero takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Ramos to hit him harder. "the ram" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Romero snaps back the head of Ramos with a stiff jab. Donato Ramos parries Cisco Romeros jab and connect with a cross.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Donato Ramos catches a leg kick from Romero, and puts him on the mat. Ramos passes through Ciscos guard into mount. Romero gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cisco Romero starts to wiggle out of back control, "the ram" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A couple of powerful body shots forces Cisco Romero back to the cage. Donato Ramos swims to double underhooks. Cisco Romero cannot stop Donato Ramos from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Donato Ramos drops a few strong punches, opening up Cisco Romeros guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Romero gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Donato works his arm around the neck of Cisco Romero attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Cisco Romero hand fights well. Ramos tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3 is finished.
