Round 1 Lou attempts a takedown but slips, and Ward backs away. Ward is standing over Lou. Ward attempts to drop a fist on Lou, but misses and lands in his guard. Ward drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Harry Ward passes through Lou Andrewss guard into mount. Harry Ward punishes Andrews with a series of strikes from the mount. Andrews gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ward attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Lou Andrews rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Lou Andrews attempts to buck Harry off from mount but Harry keeps his base and maintains position. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Harry ducks under to the back of Andrews and hops up getting both hooks in. Harry applies a deep choke. Andrews fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Lou Andrews takes the back of Ward who works for a kimura. Lou Andrews pulls his arm out of the hold and push Ward away. Ward connects with a series of punches forcing Lou into a clinch. Andrews breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Ward executes a single leg giving him the back of Andrews. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Harry Ward throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Lou is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Ward connects with a series of punches forcing Andrews into a clinch. Andrews drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Harry sets a guillotine choke but Andrews slips out at the last moment. Andrews is now caught in guard. Harry sinks a kimura fromt he bottom but cannot finish. He rolls Andrews over to gain mount but Andrews is able to achieve half guard with a great scramble. Harry releases the kimura. Round 3 is over.
