Round 1 Jesse King connects with a hard punch making Dunn bring him in to a tight clinch. King gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Jesse escapes the clinch and creates some distance. King works Dunn into the cage, swimming for double underhooks. King presses his head into Cory Dunns chest, forcing him to the ground. Cory is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but King transitions to half guard. Cory holds the head of Jesse King close to avoid shots. Jesse King slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cory attempts a takedown, but King clumsily falls down without much provocation. Cory Dunn drops a huge strike to Jesse Kings chin, landing into his guard. Cory tries to move to half guard but King uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Cory passes through Kings guard into mount. Jesse shifts his head and hips to keep Dunn off balance and unable to land strikes. King gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jesse rolls back into being mounted. Jesse King pulls Cory Dunn close to avoid a flurry of strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Cory throws a cross that easily dodged by Jesse. Cory Dunn connects with numerous jabs to the face of King. Both fighters begin to exchange King catches Cory Dunn with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Cory Dunn gather himself. Cory Dunn says he is ok and the fight continues. Dunn hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Jesse King. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. King blocks a few strikes and moves in delivering a powerful belly-to-belly slam that knocks the wind out of Dunn. Dunn rolls avoid strikes to the face and King takes advantage taking Cory Dunns back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
