Round 1 "the ram" is staggered by a jab to the chin. A trip to the ground allows Donato to move into the guard of Victor Almeida. Donato Ramos frees a leg and moves into half guard. Victor Almeida goes to deep half guard and rocks forward then backward hitting a sweep on Donato and ending up in side control. Donato sweeps over Victor Almeida and quickly obtains mount position. Donato Ramos is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Almeida is now caught in Ramoss guard. Donato is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Almeida. Donato struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Almeida is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Victor Almeida is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Ramos bucks off Victor Almeida and both fighters get to their feet. Victor Almeida fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Donato Ramos. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Donato throws a hard jab but Victor throws a cross right over the top rocking Donato. A wild hook from Donato is ducked by Victor Almeida who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Almeida throws a push kick. Donato shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Victor Almeidas nose.
"the ram" circles Almeida, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Victor connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "the ram". Victor Almeida stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Victor Almeida tries to hyperextend the knee of Ramos with a kick to the kneecap. Ramos hops back to avoid it. Almeida connects with a series of punches forcing Ramos into a clinch. Victor Almeida decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing "the ram" with him. Almeida attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Victor connects with a hard punch making Donato Ramos bring him in to a tight clinch. Donato Ramos attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Victor Almeida pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Ramos hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Round 3 is over.
