Round 1 Olavo Lobo hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Lobo connects with a hard jab as Atlas attempts a wide outside hook. Atlas Ryan ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Olavo to the mat, and his back. Ryan works his arm around the neck of Lobo attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Lobo hand fights well. Lobo starts to wiggle out of back control, Ryan lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Atlas Ryan connects with numerous jabs to the face of Lobo. Ryan gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Olavo connects with a jab cross combination. The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ryan takes Olavo Lobos back standing. Olavo isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Ryan lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Olavo to release. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Atlas. Lobo is able to pull him into his guard. Atlas Ryan takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Olavos guard. It doesn't pay off as Olavo Lobo makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows Olavo to move into the guard of Atlas Ryan. Ryan sets in an omaplata, forcing Olavo Lobo to roll through, giving Ryan side control. Ryan lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Ryan moves to north-south position. Lobo begins to roll out from under Ryan but Ryan is able scramble to Olavo Lobos back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Lobo connects with a series of punches forcing Atlas Ryan into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Olavo Lobo drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ryan sets a guillotine choke but Olavo Lobo slips out at the last moment. Olavo Lobo is now caught in guard. Olavo Lobo is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Atlas Ryan gets his arm underneath the neck of Olavo while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Olavo powers out of the attempted choke. Olavo Lobo tries to pass guard but Ryan stops him with a well timed punch. Ryan works the rubber guard on Olavo Lobo, eventually allowing an omaplata to be set in. Olavo Lobo quickly taps out.
