Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jules receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Silva escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Jordan" presses forward and grazes Torben Silva with a combo. Torben Silva wants none of the stand up and clinches with "Jordan" to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Torben Silva attempts to drop a fist on Jules Boissieu, but misses and lands in his guard. Torben takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Jules Boissieus guard. It doesn't pay off as "Jordan" makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Jules Boissieu, but Silva is able to muscle through for a takedown. Boissieu begins to posture on his side. Torben lands a couple of outside hooks and Boissieu returns to the guard. Torben drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Silva throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Boissieu is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Boissieu connects with a series of punches forcing Torben into a clinch. Jules Boissieu attempts to grab the plum but Torben takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Jules Boissieu. Silva sits up in "Jordans" open guard and spins to an leg lock. Jules Boissieu is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Torben narrowly dodges a cross from "Jordan", but falls catching him in his guard. Torben Silva goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Jules Boissieu slips out at the last second. Torben lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Silva attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Jules Boissieu the chance to pass to side control. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Silva connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Jules Boissieu fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Torben Silva to the cage. Torben Silva swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Jules Boissieu tries to pass guard but Torben Silva stops him with a well timed punch. "Jordan" presses the action while in the guard, but Torben Silva is able to switch him into mount. "Jordan" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "Jordan" shifts his head and hips to keep Silva off balance and unable to land strikes. The round comes to an end.
