Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Antan Rios receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Randy. Wright escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Randy snaps back the head of Rios with a stiff jab. "Orujo" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Randy Wright. "Orujo" circles "the natural", landing jabs and crosses at will. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Randy Wright takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Randy Wright narrowly dodges a cross from Rios, but falls catching him in his guard. "Orujo" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Randy slips out of it at the last moment. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Antan and he traps Randy Wrights extended leg to move to half guard. "the natural" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "Orujo" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Antan tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A left high kick from "the natural" keeps Antan Rios at bay. Antan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Wright. "Orujo" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Randy escapes the clinch and creates some distance. The fighters circle each other. Wright takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Wright counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Wright attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Antan Rios takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
