Round 1 Santiago Ribeiro throws a few jabs at Ely that miss the mark. Santiago throws a few jabs at Brunet that miss the mark. Brunet throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Santiago puts Brunet on the mat giving his back up. Ribeiro begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Ely Brunet rolls to being mounted instead. Ely Brunet attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Ely Brunet bucks off Santiago and sweeps him over taking side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Ely connects with numerous jabs to the face of Santiago Ribeiro. Ribeiro connects with a series of punches forcing Ely Brunet into a clinch. Santiago works "Was Raped" into the cage from the clinch. Santiago presses his head under Elys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Santiago decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Ely with him. Ely Brunet frees a leg and moves into half guard. While in Z half guard Brunet tries to pull his arm off the ground but Santiago is too fast and uses an arm drag to spin and take his back. Brunet uses his momentum and rolls him back over and spins in the guard of Santiago ending up back in his guard. Brunet tries to move to half guard but Ribeiro uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Ribeiro moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. Ely hits an uppercut to the head of Santiago followed by a hard hook. "Was Raped" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 A wild hook from Ribeiro is ducked by Ely Brunet who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Was Raped" attempts to grab the plum but Santiago Ribeiro takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down "Was Raped". Santiago takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Elys guard. It doesn't pay off as Ely makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows "Was Raped" to move into the guard of Santiago. Ribeiro connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Ribeiro begins to posture on his side. Ely lands a couple of outside hooks and Ribeiro returns to the guard. Brunet tries to pick up Santiago Ribeiro for a powerbomb, but Santiago Ribeiro releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Santiago Ribeiro lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Brunet. The bell signals the end of round 3.
