Round 1 Ali Nazari hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Taro Matsuki. Ali Nazari dodges a jab-cross combo from Taro and connects with a front snap kick, sending Taro stumbling backwards. Nazari is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Taro tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Nazari that puts him on the floor. Ali Nazari grabs a foot and kicks at Matsukis thighs. He then backs off and Taro stands back up. Taro is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Ali Nazari prepares to pounce, but Taro gets his bearings just in time. Nazari stands over Taro, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Taro cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Ali lays into Taros thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Moneyweight" does so. After dodging a jab-cross, Ali Nazari lands a kick to the liver of Matsuki who steps back and begins to take a knee. Ali Nazari rushes forward to capitalize but Matsuki stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. A lazy leg kick from Taro is caught by Ali Nazari who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Taro. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Ali Nazari dodges a jab-cross combo from Taro Matsuki and connects with a front snap kick, sending Taro Matsuki stumbling backwards. Nazari winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Moneyweight" attempts to press in on Ali Nazari but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Ali Nazari snaps back the head of Taro with a stiff jab. Taro Matsuki throws a cross that easily dodged by Ali. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Matsuki is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Ali throws a cross that easily dodged by Taro. The fighters circle each other. Nazari takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A swift ball kick from Ali opens up Taro for a spearing double-leg takedown. Ali pulls out of the guard of Matsuki, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Matsuki. Ali Nazari attempts to strike with a double-axe handle but Taro Matsuki is able to switch him to mount. The round comes to an end.
