Round 1
The fighters circle each other. Heden eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Colon. Sam Colon throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Tyson Heden puts Sam Colon on the mat giving his back up. Sam rolls back into being mounted. Heden secures his position. Colon bucks off Heden sweeping him to his back and slickly transitions to side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
"Foot Up in Ya" takes down Tyson Heden, but remains standing over him. "Foot Up in Ya" drops a huge strike to Tysons chin, landing into his guard. Heden is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. "Foot Up in Ya" passes through Tysons guard into mount. Sam Colon punishes Tyson Heden with a series of strikes from the mount. Heden gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Tyson panics and gives up mount instead. Colon jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Tyson lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Tyson takes Sam Colons back standing, but Sam Colon isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Tyson squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Tyson eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Sam. Both fighters begin to exchange Colon catches Heden with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Heden gather himself. Heden says he is ok and the fight continues. Colon connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A welt begins to form under Tyson Hedens eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Colon. Heden takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 3 is over.
