Round 1 Clark attempts to press in but Cassidy uses a inside reaping to put Clark on the canvas. Cassidy hops to side control. Wright slides his knee across the body of Clark and takes full mount. Cassidy Wright secures his position. Cassidy Wright telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Clark gives up his back to stop the attempt. Brody Clark carefully protects himself from Cassidys strikes. Giving up his back, Clark panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A single-leg attempt is well defended by Clark. Cassidy Wright stands up, lifting the leg of Clark and executing a trip takedown. Brody Clark is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Cassidy takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Clarks guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Brody makes his way to standing. Wright snaps back the head of Clark with a stiff jab. Cassidy Wright connects with jab cross combination. Cassidy connects with a hard right hand putting Brody on the mat. Cassidy goes down with him into side control. Wright throws his knee into the ribs of Brody Clark. Clark is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. Cassidy scrambles well and takes Clarks back. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Cassidy Wright connects with numerous jabs to the face of Brody Clark. Cassidy Wright narrowly dodges a cross from Clark, but falls catching him in his guard. Cassidy Wright sinks a deep kimura, but Brody slides out. This gives Cassidy Wright the chance to switch to half guard. Clark laces the legs of Cassidy giving Cassidy the opportunity to somersault over and quickly wrapping up an omoplata. Clark somersaults over allowing Cassidy to take side control. Wright lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 3 is finished.
