Round 1 Gerard connects with numerous jabs to the face of Lloyd. Gerard King stuffs a shot from Lloyd and hits him with an outside body shot. Lloyd gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Lloyd is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from King. Lloyd struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. King is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Lloyd Rossborough dives down and grabs the foot of King. Lloyd Rossborough reaches his other arm over his thigh and sneaks it under his foot clasping to his other arm achieving a painful toe hold. King gator rolls out of it back to their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Gerard catches Rossborough with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Rossborough gather himself. Rossborough says he is ok and the fight continues. Gerard narrowly dodges a cross from Rossborough, but falls catching him in his guard. Gerard King lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Gerard connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Lloyd opens up the guard and rises back to his feet.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A trip to the ground allows Gerard to move into the guard of Lloyd Rossborough. Gerard keeps his head down in the chest of Rossborough to avoid any submission attempts. Gerard leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Gerard King takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Lloyd Rossboroughs guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Lloyd Rossborough makes his way to standing. Lloyd Rossborough is staggered by a jab to the chin. Lloyd Rossborough connects with jab cross combination. Gerard King connects with a hard right hand putting Lloyd Rossborough on the mat. Gerard King goes down with him into side control. Gerard King attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Lloyd Rossborough for his troubles. Lloyd is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. Gerard King scrambles well and takes Lloyd Rossboroughs back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Gerard shoots a takedown from a distance putting Rossborough on the ground. Rossborough begins to posture on his side. Gerard lands a couple of outside hooks and Rossborough returns to the guard. Gerard King sits up in Rossboroughs open guard and spins to an leg lock. Lloyd is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Lloyd eats a jab,jab, then a hook from King. King keeps Lloyd at a distance with some well timed jabs. Lloyd Rossborough attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. King takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Lloyd Rossborough almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Rossborough gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
