Round 1
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Sam Colon connects with a series of punches forcing Peter Garrett into a clinch. Garrett places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Peter drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Colon sets a guillotine choke but Peter slips out at the last moment. Peter is now caught in guard. "Foot Up in Ya" sinks a deep kimura, but Garrett slides out. This gives "Foot Up in Ya" the chance to switch to half guard. While in Z half guard Peter tries to pull his arm off the ground but Sam is too fast and uses an arm drag to spin and take his back. Peter uses his momentum and rolls him back over and spins in the guard of Sam ending up back in his guard. Peter snatches a leg and gets a tight grip around the achilles tendon. Peter wrenches back on the ankle of Sam Colon but slips out. Peter quickly gets back into the guard of his opponent. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Garrett but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Peter eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "Foot Up in Ya". A trip to the ground allows Peter Garrett to move into the guard of Sam. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Peter works "Foot Up in Ya" into the cage from the clinch. Peter presses his head under Sams chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Peter attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Foot Up in Ya" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Sam Colon throws a few jabs at Garrett that miss the mark. Sam Colon tries to hyperextend the knee of Garrett with a kick to the kneecap. Garrett hops back to avoid it. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Sam connects with numerous jabs to the face of Peter. Garrett connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Sam throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Peter is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Colon connects with a hard punch making Peter bring him in to a tight clinch. "Foot Up in Ya" takes Peters back standing. Garrett isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Foot Up in Ya" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Garrett to release. Colon shoots a takedown from a distance putting Peter Garrett on the ground. Peter Garrett backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Peter catches a leg kick from Sam Colon, and puts him on the mat. Sam powers out sweeping Peter with pure strength. Sam is now in side control. Sam Colon throws his knee into the ribs of Peter Garrett. "Foot Up in Ya" delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Peter to turn over. "Foot Up in Ya" takes the back. Round 3 comes to a close.
