Round 1 "King of Who" shoots a takedown from a distance putting Pena on the ground. "King of Who" knocks the wind out of Mau Pena with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. "King of Who" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Mau Penas guard. It doesn\'t pay off as Mau makes his way to standing. Luke connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Hill throws a few jabs at Mau Pena that miss the mark. Pena is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Pena takes a few knees to the body while under "King of Whos" side control. "King of Who" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Mau winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "King of Who" connects with jab cross combination. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Hill connects with jab cross combination. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Mau. Luke Hill stands up, lifting the leg of Mau and executing a trip takedown. A kimura attempt is defended well by Hill and he is able to sneak his leg through Penas loose guard, to half guard. Pena attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. "King of Who" punishes Pena with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A trip to the ground allows Luke Hill to move into the guard of Pena. Pena sinks a deep kimura, but Luke slides out. This gives Pena the chance to switch to half guard. Mau Pena pulls the foot in of Hill using leverage to sweep him into side control. The round comes to an end.
