Round 1
"Ninja Sox" parries Trip Severns jab and connect with a cross. A wild hook from Trip Severn is ducked by "Ninja Sox" who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. A wild hook from Trip is ducked by Branden who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Branden Rodgers throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Trip is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Trip Severn throws a push kick. Rodgers shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Trips nose. As Branden presses forward Severn throws a wild spinning backfist. Branden ducks under it and executes a double-leg to gain half guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Trip Severn gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Trip Severn dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Ninja Sox" standing over him. Rodgers drops a huge strike to Trips chin, landing into his guard. Branden tries to pass guard but Trip stops him with a well timed punch. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Trip from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Severn shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Trip backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Branden Rodgers narrowly dodges a cross from Trip Severn, but falls catching him in his guard. Trip distracts Branden Rodgers with some peppering shots. Trip then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Branden Rodgers is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. "Ninja Sox" defends short shots well by turning his head. Trip Severn attempts to get a leg free to pass but "Ninja Sox" has it locked down too well. Trip presses his foot onto the thigh of "Ninja Sox" to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Trip lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Trip Severn switches his posture a bit, and sets in an arm triangle choke. "Ninja Sox" turns purple then taps out.
