Round 1 A wild hook from JC is ducked by Page who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Ernest Page connects with a strong body shot combo. Page clinches with Jeffers and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Jeffers for a trip takedown, landing Page is half guard. JC holds the head of Ernest Page close to avoid shots. Ernest Page slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under JCs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ernest Page. Page connects with a hard punch making JC Jeffers bring him in to a tight clinch. Jeffers drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ernest Page sets a guillotine choke but Jeffers slips out at the last moment. Jeffers is now caught in guard. Jeffers tries to pass guard but Page stops him with a well timed punch. Page backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A welt begins to form under JCs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ernest Page. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows JC to move into the guard of Ernest. Jeffers frees a leg and moves into half guard. JC Jeffers opens a cut over the eye of Ernest. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he\'s okay to continue. Ernest defends short shots well by turning his head. Jeffers attempts to get a leg free and quickly moves into mount position. Round 3 is over.
