Round 1
Watson connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Peterson is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Watson. Watson hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "8 ball". Watson peppers Brent Peterson with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. "WarHead" connects with a hard right hand putting Brent Peterson on the mat. "WarHead" goes down with him into side control. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
A trip to the ground allows Watson to move into the guard of Brent. "WarHead" uses strikes to open "8 balls" guard. "WarHead" stands up and waves Brent Peterson up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brent Peterson takes Johns back standing. Brent Peterson lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. John is able to work his way back around. John takes "8 balls" back standing, but Peterson isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura ending up in side mount. John Watson takes a few knees to the body while under Petersons side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
An outside leg trip puts "8 ball" into side control. Brent Peterson slides his knee across the body of John Watson and takes full mount. Peterson punishes John Watson with a series of strikes from the mount. John Watson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Brent Peterson works his arm around the neck of Watson attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Watson hand fights well. Giving up his back, "WarHead" panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
