Round 1
Mauro Chavez reaches down and trips Norman with a beautiful ankle pick. Mauro Chavez dives into his guard. "necromonger" begins to posture on his side. "Embassidor" lands a couple of outside hooks and "necromonger" returns to the guard. Norman attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Mauro the chance to pass to side control. Mauro lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Chavez slides his knee across the body of Nadeau and takes full mount. Norman attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "necromonger" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Norman eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Chavez. Norman eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Chavez. Mauro tries to hyperextend the knee of "necromonger" with a kick to the kneecap. "necromonger" hops back to avoid it. Mauro ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Norman to the mat, and his back. Norman Nadeau tries to stand up but Chavez plants him back down with several strikes. Chavez works his arm around the neck of Norman Nadeau attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Norman Nadeau hand fights well. Norman Nadeau spins through into the guard of Chavez. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Chavez ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Norman Nadeau to the mat, and his back. Mauro Chavez lands a double punch to the head of Norman Nadeau. Norman Nadeau starts to wiggle out of back control, Chavez lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Mauro Chavez shoots in for a double leg, hoists Norman up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. "Embassidor" slides his knee across the body of Norman Nadeau and takes full mount. Mauro Chavez lands a double punch to the head of "necromonger". Norman Nadeau pulls his leg out from under "Embassidor" and gets back to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
