Round 1 Peterson parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Brents limp is apparent as Collins lands multiple outside leg kicks. Peterson winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Both fighters begin to exchange Brent Peterson catches Keith with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Keith gather himself. Keith says he is ok and the fight continues. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Collins places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Keith Collins grabs the plum and pulls Brents face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Keith Collins lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Brent is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Brent can continue. Petersons limp is apparent as Keith lands multiple outside leg kicks. Brent Peterson throws a push kick. "freeze" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Brents nose.
Brent leaps in for a flying triangle attempt but is shoved off and lands hard on his butt. Keith chucks Petersons legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Brent presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto "freeze", aggressively pulling guard. "8 ball" lands an omoplata but Keith Collins rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. Brent Peterson connects with a hard punch making Keith Collins bring him in to a tight clinch. Peterson ducks under to the back of Collins and hops up getting both hooks in. Peterson applies a deep choke. Collins fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Collins attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Brent now is in dominant side mount. "freeze" sweeps over Brent and quickly obtains mount position. The round comes to an end.
